About Us
Organizations in the Collective
We are a collective of nonprofit organizations and educators in the Passaic watershed region: New Jersey Highlands Coalition, the Ramapough Culture and Land Foundation, Passaic River Coalition, Newark Water Coalition, the Newark Education Workers Caucus, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and the Clement A. Price Institute of Rutgers University Newark.
Our History
Supported by a grant from the National Science Foundation, we first gathered in 2021 to discuss our shared concerns about the health of the Passaic River and Watershed. Today after dozens of community conversations, we see an opportunity to engage all the Passaic watershed communities in conversations for understanding and action.
